In a word, suave, from the pinprick perlage onward. The slightest tinge of bread dough on the nose is quickly superseded by honeyed apple, lemon chiffon, and lime leaf along with hints of fig, white flowers, and the salinity that, following a zing of acidity, rings on the medium-bodied, minerally midpalate before touches of peach and almond come into play. A blend of 90% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir, it’s an expression of clarity and confidence.

Tight nose but a complex wine. Strawberries complemented by cheese notes, acacia honey and toasted walnuts. The mousse is fine and long with crisp acidity and lean body. Long savory finish, citrusy and chalky. Disgorged October 2023. Drink or hold.

Medium straw yellow colour with bright reflections and persistent fine mousse. On the nose intense aroma of herbs, yellow apple, jasmine blossom as well as light savouriness. Fresh and juicy on the palate, linear with good flow and long finish.
