Bright, medium-deep ruby red; aromas of morel cherry, dried red flowers and hints of mace and myrtle. Medium-bodied, this offers very good ripeness, medium-weight tannins and very good acidity. Well made, this will peak in 5-7 years.

The nose has aromas of black cherry, orange peel, soil and graphite. The palate brings more cherries, more soil and more citrus, along with a bitter, medicinal finish of herbs. Tannins add some grit to an otherwise round texture.
