Ca' del Sarto
Trebbiano d'Abruzzo 2022
86BB
On the nose, a nuttiness balances lighter aromas of lemon, lime, salt, white flowers and tropical fruit, while the palate is citrus, grassy and round, with a touch of tree fruit, but also still that persistent nuttiness.
Ca' del Sarto
Trebbiano d'Abruzzo 2021
VG
Bright, medium yellow; delicate aromas of pear, melon and yellow flowers. Mediumbodied, this is straightforward and clean, with modest varietal character, but lacks much complexity. Drink over the next 12-18 months.
Ca' del Sarto
Sangiovese 2021
88
Bright, medium deep ruby red; aromas of marasca cherry, red plum and black mint. Medium-bodied, this has moderate tannins that are round, very good ripe black and red berry, cherry fruit and good acidity. Nicely balanced, this is a straightforward, crowd-pleasing Sangiovese that will work well with tomato-based pasta sauces or chicken with red wine. Enjoy over the next 1-2 years.
