Pressed white and yellow floral aromas combine with lemon and orange peel and acacia honey on the elegant nose. The palate shows the richness of the extra hang time but the vibrant acid keeps the palate fresh. Roasted and preserved citrus flavors abound, finishing with an almond and fresh green herbal note. This is a wine of texture, with creamy notes and broad appeal. The Casal Farneto 2019 Castelli di Jesi Verdicchio Riserva Classico Crisio was fermented in tonneaux. Half the blend represents early-harvest fruit to preserve freshness and aromas. This wine fleshes out nicely over the palate with soft lemon cream, orchard fruit, crushed stone and petroleum. 6,600 bottles were released.
