Casalfarneto | Lacrima di Morra d'Alba 'Rosae' 2020 | 90 | The 2020 Lacrima di Morro d'Alba Rosae is hauntingly beautiful in its aromas of violette pastille, lavender, spiced orange peels, crushed blueberries and smoke. While fruit-forward and fleshy in style, its balance is on point, mixing brisk acids with tart blackberries and currants. This is a pleasure to drink from start to finish. It leaves a twang of sour citrus that curls the tongue, as salty minerals and inner florals linger on and on. I'm not sure how CasalFarneto managed to pack so much character into the 2020 Rosae. This fun and zesty Lacrima is seriously worth checking out. | |
