Castello di Monastero
Chianti Classico 2020
VG
Medium-deep garnet; aromas of dried cherry, thyme, oregano and forest floor. Medium-bodied, this has good typicity, proper acidity and moderate tannins and is nicely balanced. The finish is a bit short and all in all, the wine is rather simple. Drink over the next 2-3 years.

The nose is primarily earthy, with aromas of mushroom, underbrush and damp soil, but also has an undertone of macerated cherries. The palate leans into the fruit, with strawberries and sweet orange slices, along with more cherries.
