The floral, perfumed nose features aromas of roses, hibiscus, cranberries and cherries, with a touch of soil providing balance. On the palate, the fruit elements are punchier and crunchier and bolstered by a smoldering heat. Tannins are thick and ensnaring, while the acid acts as a guide out of that dense forest.

Deep ruby in colour, this Chianti Classico Riserva delivers attractive aromas of ripe hedgerow fruits and pomegranate intertwined with herbs, paprika, worn leather and iron. Vigorous yet unobtrusive tannins frame iron-tinged black fruits, leaving a dusty impression and lingering on a racy and slightly gamey finish, with invigorating acids and a herbal tweak adding lift.
